Beginning of the year, Railcolor reported a collaboration between Rail Magazine, Railexperts BV, a majority-owned company of RailAdventure and Roco to produce an exclusive model ex-NS 9902 “Oldenzaal” in the special children’s book “Tommie en Tess” livery.

Roco announced that they will make available this model in HO-scale DC, DCC Sound and AC Sound in Quarter 3 2024. In the winter 2005 novelties announcement, Fleischmann will produce this model in N-scale DC and DCC Sound.

Initially, I did not intend to purchase this “Tommie en Tess” AC-model as it does not fit into my other RailAdventure collection but after seeing a video of NS 9902 pulling a string of RailAdventure Habfis wagons, I decided to add it to my collection after all. Railexperts specialised in special passenger excursions so it would be an interesting addition to the overall RailAdventure business on MIST-61 layout.

Overall, it is nice model in non-grey tone from other RailAdventure locos. The print on the sides is not really to my expectations.
