Now that the structures are completed, I started identifying the placement for the key elements such as plinths, tunnel, miniature railway park trackage, etc., which forms the visible elements of Loewenherz.
As good as you could plan on paper (or on computer), the final check is when you sight the actual available space on the modules and adjust your plan accordingly. Some compromises are required as a result of the actual spatial constraints and for overall aesthetic.

For example, a café in a Donnerbüchse (Thunderbox) baggage car supposed to be placed at the bottom right corner (see above pic) near the tunnel entrance. However, the cutting for one of the module legs marked A-SW meant that the 12cm car could not fit neatly at that corner. I have moved the car to Module 1b and placed it at the other end.
Likewise for the miniature park railway. I wanted two tracks at the station stop but it would be too close to the plinths. Hence, it will now be one track, which means the park railway ride will travel in a loop in one direction.

Some of the compromises are necessary. It was a good experience how I transform my vision for Loewenherz Railway Park into reality. Building prototypes and other elements in advance help with the visualisation and placements. Nothing but an honest reality check!
