Recently, I acquired a Märklin BR 53 0002 but not any tracks and digital control center e.g. Mobile Station 2 to run it. I decided to delay purchasing any tracks until I research more about Märklin tracks – C- or K-Gleise – and have the space to run them. But I still need to test and run my BR 53.0 and other HO-scale locomotives.

After enquiring in Facebook groups. I was tipped to consider KPF-Zeller rolling stand (dt. Rollerprüfstand). They have 2 versions: standard edition and exclusive edition. I chose the exclusive edition 550mm-rolling stand that comes with underside LED-lighting and 8 translucent trolleys (dt. Laufkatzen). The standard edition 800mm-stand does not have underside lighting and comes with 10 black trolleys. You can order additional trolleys; in my case, I ordered 5 more to accommodate the 15-axle BR 53.0 including its tender.

They supplied a long power supply for LED-lighting and 2 connectors (one black, one red), which you can stack to the black panel and connect to your analog transformer or digital control center.

The end results are impressive. The underside LED-lighting and translucent trolleys made a huge difference. I let you judge for yourself.
